BIOS Upgrade X855GME ---------------------------------------------------------------- UPGRADE PROCEDURE ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Extract the *.zip file and copy the files to a bootable disc or e.g. USB Memorystick. 2. Insert the disk into the floppy drive and reboot the APC620 / PPC700 (or boot from e.g. USB Memorystick). 3. After the reboot there will be displayed a bootmenu with follow options: *1. Upgrade AMI BIOS for X855GME - BIOS will be upgraded (5PC600.X855-xx) (Default after 5 sec) *2. Exit - Exit to Shell (MS-DOS). 4. After successful upgrade the system must be rebooted. 5. Press "Del" to enter BIOS Setup and load CMOS Defaults after REBOOT. But no IRQ12 was generated, so the device did not work. Problem does not affect PCI-bus devices.
