POWERLINK-DS402 drives are also supported
mapp Axis supports all B&R drives and DS402-compliant drives from third parties with a POWERLINK interface. Developers program DS402 drives in the same way as B&R drives: using mapp technology or PLCopen function blocks. The drives are also incorporated into the automation project in the same way as B&R drives. To make this possible DS402 drives must comply with the generally applicable "CAN in Automation" standard in accordance with IEC 61800-7-201.
