Firmware Upgrade (MTCX) ---------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE PROCEDURE ---------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Copy all files to a bootable disk. (Alternatively, a bootable CompactFlash card or a bootable SB stick can be used. Detailed information can be found in he PPC310 User Manual) 2. Insert the disk in a (USB) floppy drive connected to the Panel C 310 and re-boot the device. 3. A boot menu with following options is shown after booting: 1. Upgrade MTCX Firmware FPGA and PX32 (PP3F/PP3P) The MTCX Firmware FPGA and PX32 will be upgraded utomatically (Default after 5 sec). ************************************* Do not abort a MTCX Firmware upgrade! ************************************* Otherwise the PPC 310 cannot be rebooted afterwards and must be sent to B&R for repair. Retry the aborted update process WITHOUT rebooting the Panel PC 310, for xample by directly calling batch file UPDMTCX.BAT. 2. Exit Ausstieg in die Shell (MS-DOS). 4. Select the desired action. 5.
