The ISQ ripple function allows motor-specific disturbances to be easily compensated. This results in more precise control and increased smooth running characteristics. The ACOPOS P3 requires a license to use this function.
- Precise positioning drives at slow speeds
- Motors with high harmonic content
- Motors with high cogging torque
- Direct drives with torque motors
The clear correlation between the encoder position and a motor-specific disturbance makes it possible to identify motor-internal disturbance torques. During the identification procedure, the disturbance torque is automatically recorded over at least one mechanical revolution. Based on this signal waveform, intelligent algorithms then generate a data set for that specific motor that can be used immediately for compensation.
