- Creating a web-based HMI application
- Showing the mapp View HMI application in the browser
- Displaying data from 3rd-party products via OPC UA
In addition to the runtime licenses for the mapp View server and a mapp View client, widgets from the following categories are also available:
The Buttons category contains a wide range of different button types such as a toggle button, checkbox, radio button and navigation button. Buttons can be used to trigger a wide range of events such as page changes or starting a machine command.
The Chart category provides many different types of diagrams. Bar graphs, pie charts and profile generators are available, for example. This makes it possible to edit and modify a displayed data profile at runtime.
The Container category contains widgets that serve as containers for other widgets. This can include containers that simplify navigation, for example, or divide up widgets into groups.
The Data category includes widgets that can be used to display information as a table in the HMI application. It is also possible to integrate the most frequently used widgets and value indicators in widget "FavoriteWatch" to allow the operator even faster access.
The DateTime category contains widgets for displaying date and time information.
The Drawing category contains all widgets that have to do with displaying shapes in the HMI application. Visual elements such as circles, arcs or rectangles can easily be integrated on pages in this way.
The Image category contains several widgets for integrating images and graphics in an HMI application.
The ready-made widgets in the Login category allows login and logout windows to be created in just a few seconds. As with every other widget, the widgets in this category can also be adapted to the individual look-and-feel of the respective corporate design.
The Media category contains widgets for displaying videos, PDF files or websites. This makes it easy for the user to correct an error with a short instructional video, for example.
Numeric widgets make it possible to enter and display numerical values. This category of widgets also includes progress bars and scrollbars.
The Selector category includes drop-down menus, lists and selection boxes for attractive selection possibilities.
mapp View is designed to be operated with a wide range of languages and unit systems. The widgets in the System category can be used to switch between languages and units. This setting applies to all input and output in the HMI application. Conversion takes place automatically in the background.
Widget Text allows text to be entered and output in the HMI application.
The Process category contains widgets that help optimize the machine process. It includes widget "Sequencer" for example, which the operator can use to visually display and modify machine sequences.
