ModBus TCP library for SGC, SG3, SG4 targets SW: Automation Studio 3.x HW: SG4, SGC, SG3 targets The MBTCP library provides Modbus over TCP/IP slave and master functions (also known as server and client). The library implements functionalities described in the Modbus Application Protocol Specification V1.1b available from www.modbus.org, namely: Slave: - Hosts up to 127 Modbus units, each unit contains a set of size-adjustable coils, discrete inputs, input registers and holding registers - Handles up to 5 simultaneous masters (clients), whether part of the MBTCP library or external programs. - Enables caller to monitor server activity (connected clients, operations, transmission IDs) - Automatic reconnection after an interruption of the tcp/ip communication Master: - Enables tasks to write and to read from a single Slave up to 127 coils, 127 discrete inputs, 127 input registers and 127 holding registers. - Includes timeout measures to cope with extended delays and line disconnects - Automatic reconnection after an interruption of the tcp/ip communication |
