With ACOPOS 6D LaunchPad, machines and production processes can be developed, tested and optimized completely virtually – even before hardware exists. Simulation reproduces the real system in detail and it can then be transferred directly to the physical ACOPOS 6D hardware. Compared to other systems, this complete virtualization shortens commissioning from several days to just a few hours. ACOPOS 6D LaunchPad is also seamlessly integrated into the B&R ecosystem so design, simulation and implementation take place in a standardized environment.

Configuration at the touch of a button: fast, secure, error-free
Close integration of ACOPOS 6D LaunchPad, mapp 6D and the traffic manager creates a completely seamless transition from the simulation to the real machine. The complete ACOPOS 6D hardware configuration can be exported directly from LaunchPad to Automation Studio and imported without needing manual rework. The entire shuttle traffic network, including the process sequence, can also be automatically transferred to the traffic manager. This saves valuable engineering time, prevents configuration errors and enables quick adjustments because every change in LaunchPad can be used immediately.

Optimized process design even before use in the real system
Automated web optimization, throughput calculations and energy efficiency analyses enable comprehensive improvement of the system as early as the development phase. In addition, dynamic product flows and different station arrangements can be tested without any physical adjustments or tool changes. This allows processes to be verified at an early stage, variants to be evaluated quickly and overall performance to be optimized in a targeted manner.

Offline simulation allows layout errors, possible collisions, cycle time limitations and problems with path planning to be detected and corrected at an early stage.
