ACOPOStrak, B&R's modular high speed transport system, is based on long stator linear motors that enable individually controlled shuttles to move flexibly, merge and split product flows without reducing speed. Track layouts and shuttle behavior are configured and simulated using the ACOPOStrak Designer software, with further implementation handled in Automation Studio.

  • Contents
  • Explain the ACOPOStrak software concept and components
  • Name the ACOPOStrak simulation possibilities
  • Add and configure the ACOPOStrak hardware in System Designer and use dynamic node allocation (DNA)
  • Add ACOPOStrak configuration files and use them correctly
  • Recognize PLCopen function blocks and use them in a project
  • Add and remove shuttles at runtime and explain the advantages of connecting ACOPOStrak to other systems
  • Name the different shuttle movement possibilities and configure them
  • Describe the concept for process stations and program them
  • Perform coupling between a shuttle and axis, and between two shuttles
  • Apply the basics of ACOPOStrak dimensioning
  • Carry out diagnostics tasks in a simulation and a live system
  • Find and use the user's manual
  • Set up and commission the ACOPOStrak mechanics using assembly instructions
  • Identify and resolve typical errors and carry out maintenance work on the shuttle
