A Successor with an Expanded Scope
The X20CM0989 succeeds the X20CM0985 predecessor module. Compared to the prior version, it extends what a single module can measure and support. The most notable change is voltage range: the module measures directly up to 690 V, allowing it to be used in a wider range of generator and power-generation applications without additional voltage transformers. It also adds compliance with IEC 60255 and UL 6200, a standard that is particularly relevant for generator control equipment used in North America.
Synchronization and Measurement in One Module
The X20CM0989 is designed for generator synchronization and power measurement. A single module can monitor two separate grids and synchronize a generator with either one – useful for sites with more than one power source, such as a utility feed alongside an on-site generation system.
