mapp Energy collects and evaluates the energy consumption of all machine components. The data can be displayed in the HMI application, transferred to higher-level systems or exported as a CSV file to a data storage device.

When setting up mapp Energy, the user defines which modules are included in the calculation of the energy consumption. It is possible to differentiate between energy data and power data. This is not just possible for B&R components, but also components from 3rd-party manufacturers. The calculated data can either be included directly as part of the total energy consumption or simply saved and evaluated to monitor a certain machine component for later analysis. The collected data can be displayed in the HMI application as a table or graph. The information can be exported to a data storage device such as a USB flash drive.
