  • Switch between ARsim and real hardware and find the data in the status bar
  • Describe key features and name different types of Automation Runtime variants
  • Install, upgrade and use an Automation Runtime version in a project
  • Name and explain the different operating states
  • Describe RAM and ROM, memory partitions and the benefits of remanent variables
  • Explain the concept of cycle time, idle time and priorities; illustrate a cycle time violation and explain the reason
  • Describe AR I/O management with I/O mapping and I/O scheduler
  • Add an Structured Text program and create variables using different data types and name and describe the three different variable scopes
  • Use basic diagnostic tools
