  • Your area of responsibility
  • Independent definition of functions, interfaces, services and configuration options for a wide range of B&R products and systems
  • Ongoing support of corresponding departments for implementation of tools and features
  • Main contact person for OPC UA specifications as well as their further development within the framework of the OPC Foundation
  • Creation of roadmaps for rolling out new features in coordination with suppliers and development departments
  • Participation in "Plugfests" with other manufacturers or giving presentations at customer workshops
  • Creation of demo projects, setups and best practice guides for our customers
  • Implementation of tools to test new features
  • Definition of metrics to continuously quantify the performance of the products
  • Your background
  • Successfully completed technical education (college/university) - preferably doctoral studies - with a focus on software
  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of OPC UA (theoretical and practical experience)
  • Practical experience in the use and connection of OPC UA stacks/SDKs
  • Ideally experience with international projects, negotiations and/or standardization activities
  • Prior knowledge of OPC UA PubSub or IEEE TSN and real-time systems or networks is an advantage
  • Very good English and German language skills
  • Open and communicative team player
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented and structured approach to work

In order to comply with legal requirements, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in the amount of €3,398.14 gross/month. A clear willingness to increase pay based on qualifications and experience.
