Senior Buyer - Indirect Material and Services (f/m/d)

To expand our team in the Global Sourcing department, we are looking for a Senior Buyer for Indirect Material & Services. This position has been newly created in particular for further internationalization and to secure growth targets. In this exciting and multi-faceted role, you will ensure the procurement of indirect material (non-production material) as well as services at a competitive cost. You will adhere closely to compliance requirements and corporate group guidelines. You also have a firm eye on deadlines and quality targets. You are skilled at analyzing select procurement markets and creating an appropriate supplier portfolio to achieve supply and cost objectives.

  • Your responsibilities
  • Independently handling procurement of products/services for the assigned commodity groups in accordance with deadlines, quality requirements and costs
  • Requesting quotations and handling complaints
  • Independently comparing offers, selecting suitable suppliers
  • Independently scheduling orders and monitoring delivery dates
  • Handling price negotiations with suppliers
  • Analyzing relevant procurement markets
  • Maintaining master data
  • Creating statistics and reports
  • Your background
  • Completed commercial-technical training (Austrian HAK, HTL or university/college)
  • Relevant professional experience in international purchasing
  • Market knowledge and experience related to indirect material and services is an advantage
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications, experience with SAP module MM desired
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Team-oriented personality with strong negotiation skills
  • You have a hands-on approach and enjoy a varied job with a high degree of personal responsibility

In order to comply with legal requirements, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in the amount of €3,102.45 gross/month. A clear willingness to increase pay based on qualifications and experience.
