HR Front Office Lead - GBS Operational Services Austria (f/m/d)

In this challenging position you will be responsible for managing the operations of an assigned team in Austria focused on the complete, accurate and timely completion of HR transactions for several service lines (e.g. Employee Life Cycle Management, Compensation & Performance, Payroll, Time & Attendance, etc.). In addition, you will drive efficient work allocation, effective workforce management and appropriate people management activities and will also support the team in the daily operations.

  • Your responsibilities
  • Develop, participate and implement the strategic plan for HR Global Business Services (GBS) and participate in strategic planning as a member of the relevant management team.
  • Build a new team including working organization
  • Act as subject matter expert in the team and work on a daily basis on complex issues or cases which are escalated for resolution
  • Work with customers and stakeholders to improve understanding, cooperation and performance.
  • Ensure a positive working relationship within the team and with external customers by measuring customer/ employee satisfaction and building on results.
  • Run world class HR operations in one of the GBS centers
  • Ensures service is delivered consistent with service level agreements
  • Ensure continuous legal and data protection compliance of the HR processes and document templates used
  • Your background
  • Completed commercial education (e.g. Austrian HAK, college/university) ideally with focus on human resources
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of labor law preferred
  • Fluent German and English
  • Commitment to travel (10-20%)
  • Structured and organized way of working with an affinity for digitalization and process optimization
  • Proactive team player with strong reasoning and persuasive skills

In order to comply with legal requirements, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in the amount of € 3,102.45 gross/month. A clear willingness to increase pay based on qualifications and experience.
