DVI stands for Digital Visual Interface and is based on the standard defined by the Display Working Group for connecting TFT monitors in office environments. Unlike Smart Display Link, DVI only transfers image data. Additional communication channels, to operate a touch screen for instance, must be established using additional cables.
The SDL interface on the Automation PC 910 can also transfer DVI signals, which makes it easy to connect a standard TFT display if necessary. As a DVI-I interface, it allows analog devices with an RGB port to be operated using an adapter.
