The interface module can be used to expand the X20 CPU for specific applications. It is equipped with an POWERLINK interface.

This interface uses a 100 Base-FX port. The POWERLINK connection is made using 62.5/125 μm or 50/125 µm fiber optic multimode cable with a duplex LC connection. The module and network status is indicated using LEDs.
