Data privacy statement
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and handle your data confidentially. This is done according to data privacy laws and this data privacy statement. Pages on our website may contain links to pages from other vendors who are not subject to this data privacy statement.
1.2 Collection and processing of personal data
B&R stores, processes and transfers personal data collected from customers for business purposes and for actions related to contracts between the customer and B&R.
Your data can be collected when filling out the login information or during your conversations with a B&R employee. Registration affirms your consent for processing and transferring your data as defined in this data privacy statement.
We also use external service providers to process your data. They are only permitted to process and save data from B&R customers according to the terms defined by B&R.
When you view our Web sites, we may store some data on your computer in the form of a "cookie" to automatically recognize your PC next time you visit. Cookies can help us in many ways, for example, by allowing us to tailor a Web site to better match your interests or to store your password to save you having to re-enter it each time. If you do not wish to receive cookies, please configure your Internet browser to erase all cookies from your computer's hard drive, block all cookies or to receive a warning before a cookie is stored.
1.4 Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "Cookies", text files that are saved on your computer and enable analysis of how you use the website. The information generated by the cookies regarding your use of this website are generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is used for this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google if you are in European Union member states or in other states within the European economic area that are taking part in the agreement. On rare occasions, the full IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On request of the website operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website so that reports about web activities can be generated and to provide other services related to website and Internet use to the website operator. The IP address collected from your browser by Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being stored using a setting in your browser, but doing so will limit access to some functions normally available on this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and processing data related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing a browser plug-in that can be found using the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
This site uses the social plugins ("plugins") of the linkedin.com social networking site ("LinkedIn") operated by the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The button can be identified by the "LinkedIn-Logo" or "Share-Button" on this webpage. When a user accesses a web page on this site that features one of these buttons, the browser establishes a direct connection with LinkedIn's servers as soon as the LinkedIn button is pressed. LinkedIn then transfers the content of the "in" button directly to the user's browser, which integrates the content into the web page. The provider has no control over the amount of data that LinkedIn collects via the button after the user clicks on it. Thanks to the integration of the plugin, LinkedIn knows that you have accessed the relevant page of our website. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, LinkedIn can recognize you based on your LinkedIn account and record your visit. If users want to find out what data LinkedIn collects about them and why, how it processes and uses their data, and what rights and settings they can assert to protect their privacy, they should refer to LinkedIn's data protection policy.
1.11 Right of access to personal data
Upon request, B&R will tell you whether your personal data has been stored, and if so, which data. If, in spite of our efforts, incorrect information has been stored, we will correct it at your request. Newsletters that are sent as an email always contain an opt-out link so you can stop receiving these emails.
If you have questions regarding the processing of your personal data, please send them to:
