    • The discipline of mechatronics in automation technology combines mechanical, electrical and information technology elements. The B&R mechatronics libraries provide simple methods for modeling, simulation, systems analysis, static and deterministic signal processing and closed-loop control.

      In concrete terms, the 'Basic Controller Design' and 'Advanced Controller Design' packages make it possible to implement solutions for standard closed-loop control tasks and offer a well-stocked toolbox for signal processing in the control system.

      These tools will be presented and the participants can gain experience using them.

      Target group

      This workshop is only intended for those taking part in the B&R summer workshop. A prerequisite for this seminar is participation in the basic seminar.

      • Suppression of resonant frequencies
      • Signal modulation, profile generators
      • Statistical evaluation of data and signals

      • Bode diagram, frequency response, transfer functions
      • Controller design and diagnostics in the frequency domain

      Automation Studio is used to configure and program all B&R automation components. Core issues such as getting a clear overview of all product groups, initial commissioning of a controller, understanding the functions of the runtime environment and using the options for integrated configuration and diagnostics will be shown. Use of IEC programming languages, numerous standard libraries and the integrated help system ensure that nothing is standing in the way of a successful start to the project.
