GENERAL INFORMATION

With this disk you can update the MTCX firmware for FPGA and PX32 (PP3F/PP3P) on a B&R Power Panel 300/400.

UPDATE PROCEDURE
----------------------------------------------------------------

1. Copy all files to a bootable disk.

2. Insert the disk in a (USB) floppy drive connected to the Power Panel and re-boot the device.

3. A boot menu with following options is shown after booting:

1. Update MTCX Firmware (PX32/FPGA)

The MTCX Firmware FPGA and PX32 will be upgraded
automatically (Default after 5 sec).

Do not abort a MTCX Firmware upgrade!
*************************************

Otherwise the Power Panel cannot be rebooted afterwards
and must be sent to B&R for repair. Retry the aborted
update process WITHOUT rebooting the Power Panel, for
example by directly calling batch file UPDMTCX.BAT.

2. Exit

Ausstieg in die Shell (MS-DOS).

4. Select the desired action.

5. Remove disk and reboot device (after successful update only!).
