On display units, it is often necessary to adjust the function keys for the respective application software. On Windows® based systems, pressing the F1 key opens the help page, which is often not what is desired for visualization systems in runtime mode. A simple to use Key Editor is available for the Automation Panel, which can be used to define the functionality of each key individually. The keys can be assigned up to four times. Multiple characters can be sent with a single key stroke.

To optimally set up the keys for the application, each Automation Panel can be ordered with function key legend strip templates. Each legend sheet has a CorelDRAW template with predefined key positions.

With the Key Editor, it is possible to quickly and easily set up the application individually.
