There are many problems concerning the installation of display units in machines and systems. In one application, the display unit is right next to the PC, in another application, several display units must be installed at further distances. For this reason, special attention was given during development of the APC620 so that connection possibilities for the Automation Panel can be handled in a very flexible manner.
Every APC620 has an integrated interface for connecting an Automation Panel or a monitor. Additionally, many types allow further Automation Panels to be connected using an optional Link module insert. This modularity is also available on the panel.
