The Windows-based visualization and data management are handled by an industrial PC. The machine is controlled centrally by the PLC. Several fieldbus lines connect drives and I/O systems to the PLC. In addition to the local PLC I/O systems, there are also remote I/O modules with IP67 protection outside the switching cabinet in the machine room.
