Classic I/O systems are located centrally in the switching cabinet, requiring extensive wiring for sensors and actuators. Modular machine designs additionally require interconnections with bulkhead connectors. Remote I/O modules can reach their full potential only if additional distribution boxes can be completely eliminated. And that’s why I/O modules with IP67 protection that can be used in rough industrial environments are the optimal solution.

The X67 system consists of bus controller modules, I/O modules, function modules and system supply modules which are wired using standard M8 and M12 connection technology.
