In 1996, B&R founded a subsidiary in China and can now look back on 10 years of success. The first office was opened in Shanghai in August 1996. This city is the center of industry in China. From Shanghai, B&R built a sales structure and now has offices in Xian, Jinan, Guangzhou, Peking and Chengdu. This covers the most important business regions in China. At the same time, this guarantees local support in all of China.

Today, B&R China is the innovative and technological leader in the areas of plastics, rubber, textiles and printing machines. For process automation, B&R China shows continued growth in the areas of power plants, environmental activities and civil infrastructure.

This year, B&R will increase its market presence with new offices in Shengyang and Fuzhou. In addition, investments will be made for cooperating with system integrators in order to develop new market segments. Thanks to excellent products and a highly motivated automation team, B&R is becoming one of the leading automation suppliers for Chinese machine manufacturers.
