The 2009 B&R USER Meeting featured a record number of visitors with 200 participants from Germany and Austria.

The target group for this two-day event includes technicians and sales reps with a technical background who are interested in innovative automation solutions for optimizing hardware, engineering and commissioning costs. In addition to technical lectures and numerous practical examples, B&R users will present interesting field reports during the course the meeting.

The focus of the meeting will be on optimizing engineering efforts and reducing software and service costs using Automation Studio. In addition, numerous speakers will be giving lectures concerning the following topics: mechatronics technology packages from B&R, innovations in the area of connectivity and the newest technologies for customized operator panels and visualization devices. Motion control solutions - from the simple positioning tasks to articulated robots - as well as the unique selling points of integrated safety and safe motion solutions round off the diverse user meeting program this year. As in the previous year, a special series of presentations concerning process control technology will also be offered at  this year's USER Meeting.
