Paolo Salvagno (42), new Managing Director at B&R Switzerland

Effective since January 1, 2010, Paolo Salvagno (42) assumed management of B&R Switzerland. Salvagno will be taking over both the technical and business aspects of the Frauenfeld-based company from his predecessor Walter Baumann, who established and advanced the Swiss subsidiary since it was founded in 1987 and is now beginning his well-deserved retirement.

Salvagno, who has been with B&R since 1996, assumed the role of Sales Manager in 2007. Among his goals as the new Managing Director, he aims to continue the expansion of the Swiss subsidiary's leading market position. "We will continue to strengthen our sales activities by opening new offices for the benefit of our customers. We are currently looking for qualified professionals to help us achieve this goal," shares Salvagno.
