Experienced Sales Engineer - Atlanta, GA

B&R is currently looking for a highly motivated experienced Sales Engineer to join our partner team in Atlanta,GA.

 

Job Description

 

B&R offers an excellent opportunity to work for an international company with a great working environment. You will be part of a fun, dynamic team and work closely with our Austrian headquarters, distribution partners, regional offices, customers and B&R colleagues.  We offer extensive B&R product and sales training and we will guide you step by step as you enter into your role at B&R. You will report directly to the Distribution Sales Manager.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Growing sales of B&R's complete product range throughout North America by working with our sales channels on new and existing sales opportunities
  • Working closely with distribution partners to plan, promote, and support their sales activities throughout North America
  • Overseeing and supporting distribution partners throughout all stages of the sales cycle 
  • Working with the Marketing department to promote sales efforts
  • Promoting and selling B&R product and engineering capabilities
  • Attending trade shows to seek out potential customers and to represent B&R at these shows
  • Identifying, defining, and developing the best technical solution and strategy for customer applications
  • Holding in-depth technical presentations and discussions with our sales channels and their customers
  • Attending yearly sales meetings and workshops


This position entails domestic and international travel. Therefore, a valid passport is required. You will travel regularly within North America approximately 50% of your time. Plus, there will be some travel to our Austrian headquarters approximately once a year. We are looking for someone with an engineering background, along with strong interpersonal skills and 5 years sales experience to hit the ground running and continue growing with B&R.
