Your job will be to promote B&R products in a new region and to create and lead a support infrastructure as a profit center.

After appropriate training in India and/or Europe, you will manage a regional sales office in Bangaluru. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, managing existing customers and leading a team of application and support engineers. In addition, you will coordinate your activities with B&R India headquarters in Pune.

 

Requirements:

 

• A sound technical education (experience in the PLC and servo drive field, technical college/university with degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or automation technology)

• Professional experience in the programming and commissioning of PLCs in the OEM market -- projects should have included the handling of servo motors or other motion components

• Experience with customer care

• Minimum 5 years experience in sales and servicing of OEM customers in the automation field

• Knowledge of machinery markets in India (familiarity with the main players, having some contacts, etc.)

• Proven sales success

• The ability to manage a team
