On Monday Sept. 24th, 2007, US Senator Judson Hill visited the Austrian automation specialists Bernecker + Rainer, one of the largest employers in the region around Eggelsberg, Austria. Senator Hill is from Georgia, where a B&R subsidiary has been based since 1987.

Hill and his delegation were impressed with B&R's capabilities. The Senator's Munich office supports investors when setting up businesses in the USA and has been a partner for forthcoming expansion projects for many years.

Together with its local partners, B&R USA has 24 offices in an area that covers over 27 states. Further expansion projects are already in preparation. New offices should be ready by the end of 2008. Customers include machine and system manufacturers from the packaging, semiconductor and tool machine industries.
